Family First Children Services, is a therapeutic foster care agency, based in Richmond, Virginia. Our foster care program provides services to children birth to 17 years of age, whom have suffered abuse, neglect, have emotional or physical challenges or other circumstances which make them unable to live with their family of origin. Children are referred to the program by social services agencies, throughout the State of Virginia.

Our mission at Family First Children Services is to provide exceptional placement services to children who are in need of a safe and loving home environment. We pledge to make every effort to nurture children's biological, psychological and social growth though fostering strong collaborative relationships with our staff, children, child's family and social services.

It is with great pride and excitement that I invite you to learn about Family First Children Services. As I embark on this new adventure with this organization, I am thrilled to work with such a committed and passionate team. We all have a heartfelt desire to positively influence the lives of children. As a human service professional in the field for 17 years, I have seen so much suffering and pain in the eyes of our children. Children deserve the best that we have. In order to provide the best, we have to strive for excellence in all aspects of our programming. Our agency is committed to providing quality care for our most precious gifts-our children. Quality care is provided because we offer comprehensive support and training to our foster parents. Parents must be equipped to address the needs of our children receiving foster care services. Parents are not left to just figure it out. Help is only a phone call away.
