Foster Care

About Us

WHAT IS FOSTER CARE?
Foster care offers a temporary, safe home for children in crisis. Foster families provide shelter, food, clothing, and acceptance in a loving, nurturing environment in addition to “healing” intervention. Foster parents, along with a support system, help a child to regain trust and hope. In fostering, the goal is to return the child back to the biological family; however, if this is not an option – a fostering family may elect to provide a permanent home.
